An unexpected adrenaline rush on the streets of India

World Travel Blog is, and has always been, about discovering new places, experiencing new cultures, and having some adventures along the way. But even we were a little surprised when we found out about a particular group of four young guys from the UK who ended up in India under something of a misapprehension.

Believing that they were taking part in a professional rally against teams from Germany and the US, they arrived at their designated starting point to be presented with their vehicle… which turned out to be a tuk-tuk. Iconic it may be for travellers to Asia and the environs, but this rickety little transport isn’t quite what you might expect to use in a high-octane rally where national pride is at stake.
