The Irish Times – a proper pub in Antwerp’s centre

A busy weekend in The Irish Times pub in Antwerp, Belgium

The Irish Times Pub in Belgium’s second city, Antwerp, is arguably among the best ‘Irish locals’ we’ve found while jaunting hither and thither across Europe.

Warm, friendly and offering a pleasing array of good old beers, served in pint measures, makes it extremely conducive to evening relaxation after a day of tramping the streets and seeing the sights.

The ‘soundtrack’ to your evening is courtesy of great 80s, 90s and noughties’ classics and, on Fridays and Saturdays, some cracking live singers and bands.

If you’re looking for a great atmosphere, comfortable surroundings, good beer and great music – and, in our book, there’s not much more you can ask of an establishment – give this gem a whirl; it’s Irish charm abroad at its best.
